WELCOME ON THE FNADE'S SITE
This site aims to present all FNADE’s activities, and in particular its Trade unions, its Representatives in Area, its Commissions and Colleges and its office in Brussels.
For reminder, the main sectors of industry concerned are :
- urban cleanliness in general and particularly hazardous and non-hazardous solid waste disposal,
- exploitation of factories for sorting, biological treatment, energy recovery,
- construction of transfer, sorting, composting, heat treatment installations
- soil depollution,
- collection and treatment of hazardous waste,
- agricultural recycling,
- advise, assistance and supervision of works and engineering in the activities of waste collection, recovery and treatment.
* management of "decheteries" and transfer stations
* exploitation of waste storage centers
* the management of matter recovery installations
Among others, FNADE fulfills the following missions :
- it ensures regulation and normative watch on activities practiced by its members
- it ensures animation of commissions and colleges, analysis, debate and professional position research areas, for the whole set of themes of actuality,
- it relays national informations to its nine areas and nine trade unions
- it represents the members of its trade unions in front of public instancies (on the european national areas and department level), other trade organismes and french and european normalisation instancies
- it works actively on safety problems encountered in waste collection and treatment jobs, by determining prior actions,
- it coordinates and communicates, and ensures defense of the professionals' interests.
In the framework of its prior actions, FNADE :
1. follows-up the Directive on Industrial Emissions, Climate Energy Package, Soil Framework Directive, and implementation of the Waste Framework Directive,
2. takes part in the work groups and follow-up of the various commitments taken in the framework of Grenelle 1 and 2, and the laws and decrees governing its concrete application,
3. attempts to follow all the actions in order to improve security of workers. The FNADE, on this subject, carries out a joint operation with the MFA, the CNAM and the CNRACL, that will lead to the development of a security charter,
4. works actively on the adaptation of our collective agreement on the following subjects:
- policy for modernization of the job market,
- policy relating to the restoration of social democracy and reform of working time,
- national agreement concerning professional training,
- agreement related to estimated management of employment and skills,
- transposition of a European directive on initial and continuous training for drivers of heavyweights.

The year 2010 will see the application of the statutory texts which the laws Grenelle 1 and Grenelle 2 as well as the finance law 2010 constitute. The provisions of these texts will have important consequences on the evolution of our trades.
The FNADE will have to continue its expert testimonies, its publications and its dialog with the principal institutions which surround it in order to accompany the changes by our trades.
We hope well to continue the committed efforts by our profession.
